For 60 thru 90 HP outboard engines thru 1968.
Also, for NU, DU, and light duty CU stern drive engines.

These cover plates provide a connection for city water to supply the additional water necessary for test tank running. Their use will eliminate any overheating due to air bubbles entering cooling system and will insure adequate water delivery to the water pump when using a test propeller.

The cover plates replace the water by-pass covers for tank use and are tapped for connection to a standard male garden hose fitting.
