GAUGE - SHIM
PART NO. 314718

For 100 thru 245 HP stern drive - Late 1967 to
date. This gauge determines size of shim
required between forward boaring cup and lower
gearcase. Accurate shimming here insures
that forward and reverse gears are properly
located under pinion gear. When mated with a
properly shimmed driveshaft, correct gear
tooth contact is guaranteed.
