Required for 60° V4 models and is used with P/N 391257 Pinion Remover/Installer. |
| (C) Propeller Shaft/Driveshaft Seal Installer, P/N 341439 |
Used to install extended-lip propeller shaft seal on 1995 V6 and V8 models. The opposite end of the tool is used to install the extended-lip driveshaft seal on 1995 V4, V6, and V8 models. |
| (D) Collar, P/N 341440 |
Required when shimming 1995 V4, V6, and V8 models with double-lip seal. |
| (E) Silhouette, Hook & Screw |
Required to display Collar, P/N 341440, on OMC Outboard Tool Board. |
Spacer, P/N 341437, Installer, P/N 341439, and Collar, P/N 341440, are designed to be displayed on the OMC Service Tool Display System. Spacer, P/N 341437, has an existing silhouette and hook on panel "C" of P/N 506936 Universal Set. It is located in the bottom row of tools.
Installer, P/N 341439, has an existing silhouette and hook on panel "R" of P/N 506940 Gearcase 40-300 HP Set. It is located in the second row of tools.
An adhesive back silhouette, hook, and screw are provided for Collar, P/N 341440. They are to be placed on panel "D" of the Universal Set.
To install, proceed as follows:
[2] Measure over 2 inches (5 cm) on a center line from the screw head of tool, P/N 334985, to locate the screw hole for the adhesive back silhouette. Remove the adhesive backing and stick silhouette in place.
[3] Attach the hook with the screw provided and display the collar.
